The Little Snapper moved just around the corner from Orient Point, where it was known as OP Bakehouse. There was always something missing before The Little Snapper came to town, a cocktail bar! It is owned by Scott and Tobie Mason, locals since 2013. Head chef Scott has over 28 years of fine dining experience, including his roles at Bistro Moncur and Bambini Trust Restaurant & Wine Room in Sydney. If sweet treats are more your style, Tobie has got you covered with her delicious baked goods, cronuts being the local favourite.
Recently, The Little Snapper have added a new menu dedicated to… burgers! From fish burgers, to cheeseburgers, to southern fried chicken burgers, your mouth will be watering before you even taste them. Don’t worry vegans, there is something for you too involving a housemade lentil patty, lettuce, tomato, spiced eggplant kasundi and hummus. And you can’t have a burger without fries, right? Right. Luckily there are plenty of options including signature chips, potato wedges and our personal favourite, kebab shop chips loaded with garlic yoghurt, lettuce, tomato and spring onions. If you don’t like burgers, there are a few other delicious options available, such as the greek goddess salad or the battered fish and chips.
Are you a dessert lover? If so, you have the choice between Raspberry Sorbet, Vanilla Panna Cotta or a dish involving salted caramel gelato, choc fudge sauce, Golden Gaytime crumb and a waffle cone.
