Visit Shoalhaven
Huskisson is the main town on Jervis Bay and the one most people mean when they say they are going to Jervis Bay. It is small, walkable and set up for visitors without feeling like a resort.
The whale and dolphin cruises leave from here. So does the waterfront walking track, which runs along the bay past Moona Moona Creek. The middle of town has the bakeries, the pubs and the restaurants, and you can park the car on Friday night and not touch it again until Sunday.
It gets very busy over summer and school holidays. Shoulder season, particularly May to September when the whales are moving, is the better trade.
